Affiliate disclosure
Bayplan.co.uk currently uses ordinary Amazon UK and Scan search links. We do not append an Associates tag, and we do not earn a commission from these clicks. When tracking is live, this page will say so first.
Status of tracking
- Amazon Associates UK — not live. Search URLs do not include a tracking tag.
- Scan Computers / Awin — not live. Scan buttons are ordinary site search, with no Awin click ID.
Where the buttons sit
- Planner result → enclosure cards — only after an exact match. Amazon UK search is the first button, Scan the second. No purchase step is shown when the engine has no matching enclosure.
- Enclosure catalog and model pages — same merchant searches if you skip the form.
- Drive class searches — NAS-rated CMR at an editorial size band. No part numbers.
- Goes with — UPS and off-site / external-drive category searches, after a named enclosure match.
What we refuse
- Invented live prices or “from £x today”
- Ranking a model because a commission would be higher
- Claiming tracking is live when it is not
- Manufacturer spec pages dressed as affiliate links
